There is nothing sadder, in this posters opinion, than a roleplayer in a party of one.  For roleplay to even occur, you need folks to roleplay with.  So, this poll was (hopefully) initiated to collect playtimes for the different crews we have.

Pick your best time in the poll, but also note in a following post if any of the other times that could also work for you; that's why I numbered them.

So, for me: 2, 5, 9

    Also we need to keep in mind where people are playing from, while a lot of players live in America, we also have international players.  I'm assuming the chart is Second Life Time(SLT= Pacific Time).  Me, I live near Seattle, which is on the US West Coast, same timezone as the Lindens and the servers.

    Anytime during the weekends is good for me, except Saturday night when I LARP.

Well, I play SL pretty much every spare moment I have, So if I could I'd vote for "all of the above".  However I voted for 8 becuase I know for a fact that nine times out of ten, I'm home alone and won't be interupted.  Also, anything before noon SLT on a weekday is bad for me, since I have a part time job.

Hmmmm...  Let's do this, if you really want to weigh in on all available times how about a compact form that is completely opaque.

So for those of us that work retail, and have hours randomly from five a.m. until as late as eleven p.m., seven days a week, We are just lucky if we hit a roleplay.

Uhm. Due to the vagaries of my job (long hours of boredom during which I can occasionally log into SL punctuated by sudden flashes of screaming emergency):

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 with some sudden work interruptions on weekdays, occasional random weekends when I'm not available, and I'm usually available weekday afternoons-evenings except for Wednesdays.

While I think the idea of trying to find a 'Good window' or two or three for roleplay is excellent, I don't want folks to think that's the only time the group roleplays. I'm working on some writeups now about random, spontaneous, two-three person roleplay and Making It Happen rather than constantly waiting for GMs and 'We can't start, we don't have the entire bridge crew.'

    There has been some more recent chatting about this in SecondLife so I thought I would bump up this topic and reset the poll.   Since the overly vague "Weekdays" got the most votes I called out the most likely time and added a weekday other and weekend other time blocks, to cover all other missing times.  If the time you are thinking of is weekend your local time go ahead and put it in weekend other anyway.  Friday evenings and nights can fall under weekends after all.

   Don't forget that you can change your vote at any time.  So you can vote for your perferred time and if later a good time starts to be competetive you can change your vote to support that time.

I'm east coast US, and work 4th shift.  But I'm almost always free later Thursday thru later Saturday.  And depending on how far we travel, and how many trucks we load, I'm usually free anywhere from 6am to 6pm SLT.

And as the new sets arebeing built on my lot, I'm usually IC since I am the Chief Engineer.  Feel free to drop by anytime. *NE corner of Clara*  I'm almost always home.  Smiley
